The book is talking about a hazy dream, confound with the reality. When I am upset and unhappy, I want to hide myself to avoid harm from the outside world. We have our dark side and hard time. Sometimes we want to escape from reality, but the reality may not be as bad as you think. It is all about the unknown, although there might be fear, but there is space to imagine. Dream is always beautiful and full of imagination. Maybe when we woke up, we would forget everything.
